Laetitia B. Auguste
Laetitia joined the Ottawa office of Forget Smith in 2018 after articling with the Office of the Commissioner of Official Languages. Laetitia's practice is focused on insurance defence litigation, including bodily injury and accident benefits in both official languages of the court.
Laetitia is a graduate of the University of Ottawa, where she obtained her Juris Doctor in the French Common Law Program in 2017. She also obtained her American Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law in 2017. Prior to law school, Laetitia studied Criminology at the University of Ottawa and minored in Sociology. She was called to the bar in 2018.
Laetitia is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the County of Carleton Law Association, l’Association des juristes d'expression française de l'Ontario (AJEFO) and the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers.
