Eric J. de Man
Eric joined Forget Smith in 2014. He regularly advises the Province and other clients on claims arising from occupier’s liability, motor vehicle liability, road maintenance, property damage and coverage disputes. He has conducted dozens of discoveries involving complex motor vehicle litigation and varied claims by inmates in provincial detention centres. He has argued motions before the Superior Court of Justice and various tribunals. His experience also includes preparation of both jury and non-jury actions for trial and has appeared before the Divisional Court.
Eric graduated with honours from the University of Pennsylvania prior to earning his LL.B and B.C.L.at McGill University's Faculty of Law. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2010.
