Chelsea practices primarily in the area of civil litigation, with a focus on insurance law, including personal injury, motor vehicle accidents (tort and accident benefits), and property damage. She has also advised clients on disability, employment law matters, and landlord and tenant issues.
Chelsea has experience in drafting pleadings and legal opinions, conducting discoveries, attending mediations and pre-trials, and preparing matters for trial.
Chelsea received her LL.B. (with Distinction) from the University of Saskatchewan and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2007. Prior to entering law school, she attended Simon Fraser University in British Columbia where she received her undergraduate degree in Criminology. Upon relocating to Ottawa, she practiced with two boutique civil litigation firms before joining Forget Smith in 2015.
